We’ve heard this before Location, location, location, and that is exactly it. Now one of the things that you want to look for when it comes to the site is you never want to be the most expensive home in a very cheap neighborhood. You might be wondering why because sure you can tell your friends Hey, I live I have the most expensive house in this neighborhood. But that’s not a good thing. Because it adds all the other houses that go on sale on they get sold. It’s going to bring the value of your home down.

What you want to be on the other hand is you want to be on the average or one of the lower-priced homes in a costly neighborhood. What happens then is the more expensive homes get sold and the value of your home is going to keep increasing, increasing, increasing even if you don’t do a whole lot of renovations because those because a lot of value is going to matter a lot. And another thing you want to pay attention to is or you want to see if there are any new infrastructures that have come that’s being built and coming in that neighborhood, like hospitals, schools. LRT, and things like that. Because if you think about it in the long term, if you hold the property for three or four years and there’s a new LRT station, that’s going to be like a minute away, that is going to bring a whole new demographic of people and that investment property is going to gain more value as well. And one more thing that you want to pay attention to is you want to make sure to find out if there are any neighborhood flaws that are short-term because what happens with that is if there is something small that’s happening right now in the neighborhood if it’s being taken care of and the next three or four years that short term flood is going to be gone. You want to buy into that neighborhood right now because a lot of people are going to be scared and they’re not going to be willing to put their money in that neighborhood. But it’s great news for you.
